Step 1 — File with the RTB

BC's Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) is where official disputes are filed. Before continuing here, start your application with them — they'll give you a file number.

  1. Click the button below to open the RTB's Online Dispute Resolution portal.
  2. Create an account or log in with BC Services Card.
  3. Start a new application and follow their guided form.
  4. When you're done, copy your RTB file number and come back here.
